Steve Kerr, the head coach of the Golden State Warriors, says sports is in the middle of the coronavirus crisis.

Kerr explained he has no other option but to find other ways to keep himself busy and occupied amid the coronavirus crisis.

“Debating with family members and friends. Reading. Just trying to stay busy. Watching Netflix. The irony of all this, for people like me who love sports, is this is normally the time you watch sports — to escape something that’s really scary and uncomfortable.

But, because we’re right in the thick of it, we don’t have that option. So you look for other ways to keep yourself busy and occupied,” Kerr said in an interview with Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

The NBA has suspended the season for at least 30 days, after Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz and Christian Wood of the Detroit Pistons were tested positive for the coronavirus.
