Dwane Casey shared his thoughts on the decision of the Brooklyn Nets to part ways with head coach Kenny Atkinson.

The head coach of the Detroit Pistons said he was disappointed that Atkinson left Brooklyn, but he was not surprised by the Nets’ decision.

“No (I am not surprised). I’m disappointed just in the fact that I thought Kenny did an excellent job w/ the team. I’m not in their locker room, I don’t know — but I do know Kenny Atkinson’s a good coach and he’ll land on his feet,” Casey said, per Mike Vorkunov of The Athletic.

Atkinson had an 118-190 record during his time in Brooklyn.
