Former Miami Heat guard Dion Waiters is still without a team after getting traded to the Memphis Grizzlies and then getting waived.
The 28-year-old, who saw no shortage of controversy in Miami this season, is understood to have impressed the Los Angeles Lakers in a workout this week. Waiters is also reported as having owned up to the mistakes he made before leaving the Heat. But, if his recent Instagram story is anything to go by, it looks like he’s still up to the old antics.
A video posted to the player’s IG story surfaced over the weekend, showing what appears to be Waiters hitting a cyclist with his car on purpose. He captioned the video “Life comes at you fast.”
We can’t be sure Waiters was the one behind the wheel but, if he was, it’s a pretty bad look for a guy trying to regain his place in the NBA.
