Dion Waiters reflected on the strange atmosphere in the Thunder’s locker room during the year they lost a 3-1 lead in the Western Conference Finals.

While the team had superstar players, Waiters explained that the reality within the locker room was very different from what outsiders perceived.

From the outside, it seemed like the players were close, but once he joined the team, he realized the dynamics were far more complicated.

He acknowledged that, despite the internal tensions, he still believed they should have made it to the Finals that year.

Waiters emphasized that a lot was going on behind the scenes, describing the situation as filled with tension but not necessarily hidden agendas.

He further explained that it was a lot to deal with and much more complex than it appeared from the outside.
