Former NBA champion and current ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins took to Twitter and praised Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart.
“Marcus Smart’s heart, tenacity, and pride is Celtics to the core. From Bird to Russell to the Big 3 era, he would’ve been able to fit in with any Celtic team in history,” Perkins tweeted.
Smart is considered a defensive specialist, while he is a key component of the team, averaging 12.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.6 steals.
