Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns will not play against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday (13/01).

Towns has been sidelined since December 13 due to a sprained right ankle. Even though he returned to practice last week, he did not play against the Houston Rockets, due to illness.

Towns will not play against the Thunder and his return to action is expected to happen on Wednesday (15/01) in the home game against the Indiana Pacers.

Minnesota (15-23) has gone 5-8 in the 13 games that Towns has missed.
