The Rockets have decided to rest Westbrook for one game of back-to-back sets throughout this season and this will happen this week, too.
Therefore, Westbrook will miss the game against the Grizzlies, but he will return to the lineup for the match against the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday (15/01).
The versatile guard has been averaging 24.6 points, 7.7 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 1.5 steals this season.
The Rockets are at 26-12.
