Zalgiris Kaunas set a season high in three-pointers made and dominated Bayern Munich (73-98) to snap a nine-game losing streak.

The Lithuanians made 13 three-pointers in the game (13/28), setting a new season high and cruising to an easy victory, as they outscored the Bavarians 38-55 in the second half.

“We are playing good basketball for a while now, but we just cannot hit any shots. Sometimes, you have to look at basketball from the most simple perspective.

When you make shots, players look better and coach looks smarter. Which is not true. We just finally made shots, people,” Zalgiris head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius told reporters afterwards.

The Lithuanians put an end to their nine-game losing streak and improved to 4-12, whereas the Germans dropped to 6-10.
