The New York Knicks took to Twitter and denied they offered a contract to Richard Jefferson in either the summer of 2018 or 2019.
Jefferson said on Sunday (24/11) that he retired because the Knicks were the only team to offer him a contract and that indicated to him that his time in the league was up.
