The Detroit Pistons intend to make Derrick Rose their leader on the floor during the absence of starting point guard, Reggie Jackson.

Jackson will be sidelined for the next four weeks due to a stress reaction in his lower back and Detroit plans to have Rose lead at point guard for the next month (at least).

Rose has been averaging 20.8 points so far in the season, which are the most since 2012, per Bleacher Report.
