Derrick Williams made his EuroLeague debut with Fenerbahce and played for 40 minutes in the loss to Real Madrid (81-77).
“It’s going to be easier when Jan Vesely and Joffrey return. If the coach wants me to play for 40 minutes, I’m ready to do whatever he says.
I have prepared myself accordingly already in the pre-season,” the American power forward told Fenerbahce TV after the game.
Williams was one of the best players of the Turkish squad, finishing the match with 19 points and 10 rebounds.
