It is finally official. After a fantastic season in the ACB which earned him MVP honours and the Spanish Championship with Caja Laboral, Tiago Splitter moved to the NBA and the San Antonio Spurs. Per club policy, the terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Splitter averaged 15.7 points and 6.7 rebounds in the ACB’s regular season, and had similar stats in the playoffs to lead his team to the title. He was the 28th overall pick of the 2007 draft, selected by the San Antonio Spurs.
