Denver Nuggets forward Spencer Jones has returned to full practice after missing the entire preseason with a hamstring injury, providing a positive update ahead of the start of the NBA regular season.
Jones confirmed that his recovery is progressing well and said he remains on track to play in Denver’s season opener Thursday against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The 6-foot-7 forward had been sidelined throughout the preseason, preventing him from participating in exhibition games as the Nuggets prepared for the new campaign.
Jones appeared in 64 games during the previous campaign, earning 37 starts and providing consistent contributions on both ends of the floor.
He averaged 5.5 points per game while shooting an efficient 50% from the field and 40% from three-point range.
