Boston Celtics guard Devin Carter is expected to miss several weeks after being diagnosed with mononucleosis, an illness that has recently kept him away from the team.
The setback comes shortly after Boston converted Carter’s Exhibit 10 contract into a two-way deal following his impressive performances during training camp and the preseason.
The former Providence College standout earned the Celtics’ available two-way roster spot after making a positive impression on the coaching staff.
