The Golden State Warriors came back from a double-digit deficit and edged the Portland Trail Blazers (114-111) to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the series.

The Blazers led by as many as 17 points (50-67), but the Warriors outscored their opponents 39-24 in the third quarter and tied the game (89-89).

After that, no team could take a significant advantage and Andre Iguodala “stole” the ball from Damian Lillard in Portland’s final possession and sealed the deal for the two-time defending champions.

Stephen Curry (37 points), Klay Thompson (24 points) and Draymond Green (16 points) combined for 77 points for the winners.

Five players scored in double figures for the winners, with Lillard having a team-high 23 points.

Game 3 will be played in Portland on Saturday (18/05).
