Olympiacos head coach David Blatt spoke with the media prior to the club’s departure to Istanbul and referred to the Greek Cup semi-final against Panathinaikos.
Here is what the experienced coach said regarding the “Reds” decision to forfeit the game and not play in the second half:
“When there are issues of fairness, sincerity and morality, and they are questionable, you are in a time of desperation and you have to take desperate measures. Our team went ahead and took them. As I have said, I am 100% with them.”
Olympiacos will face Anadolu Efes in Istanbul tonight (21/02).
