Efes Pilsen was with the back against the wall after having lost both game 1 and 2 at home to Fenerbahce Ulker. In game 3 however the managed to fight back and grabbed the win in overtime.
Fenerbahce started the game solid and had a 9-point lead at halftime which they kept till the end of the 3rd quarter. Efes won the 4th period with 17-26 though and sent the game to overtime. In the extra 5 minutes Efes scored amazing 23 points to cash in only 16 and won the game 91-98.
Preston Shumpert had 28 points and Bootsie Thornton added 27 fpr the winners. For Fenerbahce Turkcan scored 22 to be followed by Solomon with 17 and Erden with 14.
