According to Tim MacMahon of the ESPN, the Dallas Mavericks “are optimistic” that they put up with Dennis Smith Jr. and would consider to trade their point guard if they “get good value in return”.

The 21-year-old player has missed the last four Mavs’ games due to health issues.

This season, Dennis Smith Jr. is averaging 12.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 3.9 assists, while shooting at 44.3 percent from the field in 27.7 minutes of action.
