The Dallas Mavericks point guard Dennis Smith Jr. will participate in the NBA All-Star Slam Dunk Contest in Charlotte.
Last season, Smith Jr. also took part in the contest, but did not make it to the finals.
This season, Smith Jr. is averaging 12.7 points, 2.8 rebounds and 3.9 assists, while shooting at 43.8 percent from the floor in 28.0 minutes of action.
