Kawhi Leonard returned to San Antonio as an opponent, but the Spurs were unstoppable and crushed the Toronto Raptors (125-107).
Leonard didn’t receive a warm welcome by the fans, while the hosts dominated their opponents from the opening tip.
San Antonio closed the first quarter in front by 19 (38-19) and led by as many as 28 points to cruise to an easy victory. The Raptors played badly on both ends of the floor and suffered a heavy defeat.
DeMar Derozan led the winners, with 21 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists in his first game against his former team. The versatile guard made the first triple-double of his career. For his part, LaMarcus Aldridge added 23 points, on 10/14 shooting.
Seven players scored in double figures for the losing squad, with Leonard having a team-high 21 points (on 8/13 shooting) and five assists.
San Antonio improved to 22-17, whereas Toronto dropped to 28-12.
