The San Antonio Spurs have officially traded Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green to the Toronto Raptors for DeMar DeRozan, Jakob Poeltl and a protected 2019 first-round pick.

Per Adrian Wojnarowski of the ESPN, the two teams were in talks in the past couple of weeks and finally reached an agreement, which became official earlier today.

Toronto are planning to convince Leonard to re-sign with the squad next summer, offering him a five-year, $190 million contract.

On the contrary, if Leonard, who has mentioned he wants to join the Los Angeles Lakers next summer, decides to become a free agent, then he could sign a four-year, $141 million deal with a team with the available salary-cap space.

Concerning DeMar DeRozan, he has three years and $83M left on his contract with Toronto.
