San Antonio Spurs head coach, Gregg Popovich, referred to the return of Kawhi Leonard to San Antonio as an opponent.

The Spurs crushed the Toronto Raptors (125-107) and Leonard didn’t receive a warm welcome, as the fans booed him throughout the evening.

For his part, coach Popovich wasn’t pleased with the fans’ reaction.
“I felt badly about it,” Popovich said, per Tim Bontemps of the ESPN.

“Kawhi is a high-character guy. We all make decisions in our lives with what we’re going to do with our futures, and he has that same right as any of us. So I felt badly, in all honesty,” the legendary coach added.
