Barcelona head coach Svetislav Pesic said the team needs the support of its fans to make the opponents feel uncomfortable.

Here is what the experienced coach said, per Mundo Deportivo:

On the reaction of the fans and whether it affects the players: “There are two different types of fans. Those who come to Palau Blaugrana to help the team from the first minute and others who wait. If we win against Real Madrid, they are all excited. If we don’t win they are all disappointed. This isn’t good for the players.”

On the support the team needs from the fans: “The new Barca needs a full house. Otherwise, the opponent feels very comfortable. If the arena is ready we send a message to our opponent that we aren’t alone and that the fans are ready to help us at difficult times.

EuroLeague is very competitive and without the support of the fans throughout the whole game, we can’t win.”

Barcelona (7-7) welcomes Anadolu Efes (9-5) and wants to claim its second straight win and climb higher in the standings.
