The head coach of Barcelona, Svetislav Pesic, shared his thoughts on the plan of the EuroLeague to resume and finish the season.

Even though Pesic expects the league to resume the season, he is concerned about the level of competitiveness of the respective teams.

“The ACB league made the decision, changed its system and the competition calendar, 12 teams in two groups, in one place. The same thing will happen with the Euroleague a little later.

It will be completed by the end of July. The plan is to bring together all 18 teams (in one place), to play the remaining six rounds, followed by a final 8 format.

I don’t know if the system will change in the meantime. I think some teams will quit, they won’t be ready. The (game) dates known, and the Euroleague will decide on May 21. By May 31, the ACB will also decide whether the Spanish Championship will continue,” Pesic told nova.rs, via Mundo Deportivo.
