The Dallas Mavericks (16-17) beat the New Orleans Pelicans (15-20) in the late thriller at home 122-119 (33-30, 34-34, 23-30, 32-25) and put an end to a six-game losing streak.

Luka Doncic led the Mavs with 21 points, while shooting 5-of-13 from the field, including the game-changing free throws with 30.1 sec left. In addition, he grabbed 9 boards and handed out 10 assists in 31 minutes of action. Dirk Nowitzki scored a season-high 7 points (on 2/6 shooting) and surpassed Karl Malone for fourth on the career list of games played at 1477.

DeAndre Jordan posted 20 points (on 7/7 shooting) and 12 rebounds, J.J. Barea coming off the bench to add 18 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Six Mavs finished in double figures.
