After three straight losses in the pre-season, Fenerbahce were victorious over Maccabi Tel-Aviv (65-60) in the “Zadar Basketball tournament”.
Tyler Ennis (15 points, four assists) and Kostas Sloukas (13 points, four assists) were the best players for the Turks. Joffrey Lauvergne contributed eight points and seven rebounds
Sloukas and Lauvergne scored crucial points in the final minutes of the game and helped Fenerbahce seal the victory.
Johnny O’ Bryant had 15 points and 10 boards for Maccabi, who suffered their second consecutive loss in the tournament. DeAndre Kane and Scottie Wilbekin scored nine points apiece.
