Isaiah Whitehead is close to signing an one-year, $1M contract with Lokomotiv Kuban.

Per Eurohoops.net, the two sides, who were in advanced talks in the past few days, finally reached an agreement and the former Brooklyn Nets guard will play for the Russians next season.

Whitehead will make his debut in the EuroCup and the VTB League next season, after spending the previous two years in the NBA, where he played for the Brooklyn Nets, averaging  6.3 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.
