Former NBA star Gilbert Arenas believes today’s players are less interested in spending money at strip clubs, suggesting that many prefer staying home and playing video games instead.
Speaking with former NBA guard Danny Green, Arenas compared the habits of current players with those from his own playing days, when visiting strip clubs was a more common part of NBA nightlife.
“The strip clubs… that sh*t ain’t popping no more, man. Magic City was a thing in my era. They playing video games sitting in their homes. They don’t want y’all high ass prices,” Arenas said.
“Magic City,” Green responded.
Arenas continued by arguing that younger players are no longer interested in spending large amounts of money on bottles and entertainment at clubs.
“They not coming to the club buying bottles no more. Y’all didn’t, y’all done none of these, these boys dumb,” he said.
“We done paid enough child support for everybody.”
