Before joining David Blatt’s team Zizic played for Cibona Zagreb. On 11 October 2016, Zizic was named MVP of the fourth week of the Adriatic Basketball League after scoring 37 points and grabbing 20 rebounds in Cibona’s win against MZT Skopje Aerodrom.

It wasn’t just a single game when the 19-year-old shined for Cibona. Zizic had impressive stats in the ABA League this season: 20 points and 9.2 rebounds per game.
