The Chicago Bulls have agreed to a deal with forward Kevin Knox, according to a report from Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.
Knox, who has played for five NBA teams since entering the league in 2018, joins Chicago after a brief stint with the Golden State Warriors last season. The 26-year-old averaged 3.3 points and 1.2 rebounds in 5.0 minutes across 14 games with Golden State.
Over seven NBA seasons, the former lottery pick has appeared in 320 regular-season games, posting career averages of 7.3 points and 2.8 rebounds while shooting 39.3% from the field and 34.0% from beyond the arc. His best season came as a rookie with the New York Knicks in 2018–19, when he averaged 12.8 points in 75 appearances.
Knox’s career has since featured stints with the Knicks, Atlanta Hawks, Detroit Pistons, Portland Trail Blazers, and Warriors. Despite fluctuating roles, he has shown the ability to stretch the floor with improved shooting efficiency, particularly during the 2022–23 campaign when he hit 36.9% of his three-pointers between Detroit and Portland.
For the Bulls, the move adds a veteran forward to a roster blending young talent and experienced contributors. Chicago’s frontcourt already includes Nikola Vucevic, Patrick Williams, Jalen Smith, and Matas Buzelis.
