Nick Calathes orchestrated Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade’s 90-81 road victory against Paris Basketball on Thursday at Adidas Arena, finishing with 12 points and 10 assists. The veteran guard’s precise passing repeatedly set up teammates, helping Partizan overcome an early 20–12 deficit.
Tonye Jekiri contributed 15 points and 6 rebounds, crediting Calathes for controlling the offense as the visitors built a 64-79 lead late in the game. Sterling Brown added 17 points and 8 boards, while Isaac Bonga scored 11 with 7 rebounds, supporting a balanced attack that neutralized Paris’s early momentum.
Paris had the first-quarter edge behind Nadir Hifi, who led all scorers with 23 points. The home side struggled to contain Partizan’s set plays and allowed multiple second-chance baskets despite recording 11 offensive rebounds in the first half.
Partizan’s defensive discipline and offensive execution improved after halftime, limiting Paris’s scoring opportunities and converting 27 assists to just 16 for the home team. Carlik Jones returned to strengthen the backcourt, contributing 9 points and 6 assists in a key supporting role.
The game highlighted the difference in ball movement and composure, as turnovers were similar—Paris had 11 and Partizan 14—but precise passing and patience in the halfcourt allowed the visitors to control the second half.
Partizan will host LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne on March 24, while Paris heads to Virtus Bologna on March 31, both seeking to finish the EuroLeague season strong despite limited playoff prospects.
