Following the devastating Game 4 defeat, Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs acknowledged that the team now faces a critical moment in its season.

Asked what was going through his mind after the loss, the All-Star outlined two possible paths for the Spurs moving forward.

“I think it’s going to go one of two ways,” said the former No. 1 overall pick. “One of two ways. A bad one and a good one.

“The bad one would be giving up. The good one would be getting stronger through this, getting more together. I know this is what we’re going to do.”

With elimination looming, Wembanyama believes the adversity can ultimately strengthen San Antonio as it attempts to keep its championship hopes alive.
