Following a disappointing 32-50 season, Giannis Antetokounmpo didn’t shy away from criticizing where the Milwaukee Bucks currently stand.
“We’re very bad. We are the furthest away that we’ve been in the last couple of years,” he said.
“How many wins we have? 32? This is the second-lowest wins I’ve ever won. So yeah, we’re the furthest away that we’ve been, I think. So, we’ll see. This is what we have in front of us.”
Milwaukee’s record marked a sharp decline and ended the team’s long playoff streak, highlighting the challenges ahead.
Antetokounmpo has played 13 seasons for the Bucks. He has averaged 24.1 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 5.0 assists in 895 regular-season games.
He was selected to play in 9 All-Star games.
He has won 1 Most Improved Player award, 1 Defensive Player of the Year award, 2 MVP awards, 1 Finals MVP award and 1 NBA championship.
