The Phoenix Suns and Chicago Bulls continue navigating late-season injury concerns as both teams monitor key players listed on the NBA’s official injury report released April 5.

Phoenix enters the week holding a 42–35 record and currently sits seventh in the Western Conference standings. The Suns have already secured a postseason berth but are fighting to stabilize after dropping two straight road games.

Devin Booker remains the focal point of the offense. The veteran guard is averaging 25.7 points and 6.0 assists across 61 games while playing more than 33 minutes per night.

Dillon Brooks has provided secondary scoring with 20.5 points per game while defending opposing wings. The forward has appeared in 52 games and leads the roster in physical perimeter matchups.

Phoenix’s injury report is relatively short compared to several teams around the league. Amir Coffey is listed as questionable with a left ankle sprain. Coffey has played a limited role this season, appearing in 13 games while averaging 4.1 points in roughly 13 minutes per contest.

Haywood Highsmith is ruled out due to right knee injury management. Highsmith has played six games this season and averaged 5.5 points while shooting 50 percent from the field.

Chicago enters the matchup with a longer list of injuries and a more difficult season overall. The Bulls hold a 29–48 record and have already been eliminated from postseason contention in the Eastern Conference.

The team has struggled recently, losing six consecutive games including a 136–96 defeat to the New York Knicks on April 3.

Playmaking responsibilities largely depend on Josh Giddey when he is available. The guard is averaging 17.0 points, 9.1 assists, and 8.3 rebounds across 54 games.

Giddey is currently listed as questionable with a left hamstring strain. His status is significant because he leads Chicago in assists and often initiates the half-court offense.

Matas Buzelis is also listed as questionable due to illness. The forward has started all 76 games this season and averages 16.3 points and 5.8 rebounds.

Chicago’s backcourt depth is affected by the absence of Anfernee Simons. The guard is out with a fracture of the left ulnar styloid after averaging 15.2 points in limited appearances.

Frontcourt depth is also limited. Zach Collins and Noa Essengue remain sidelined following surgeries, while Jalen Smith is out with a right calf strain.

Center Nick Richards is questionable with a right elbow sprain after averaging 9.4 points and 7.6 rebounds in 20 games.

Collin Sexton is expected to be available despite a right finger injury. The guard is listed as probable and averages 17.3 points per game. Lachlan Olbrich is also listed as porbable.
