Lietuvos Rytas reports that Zalgiris are interested in Mirza Begic and Pape Sow. Both players are on the list of candidates to become the starting center of the team. These reports contradict comments of Zalgiris head coach Gintaras Krapikas who claimed that the club is choosing between two American centers.
Bosnian center Mirza Begic spent last season in Slovenia with Olimpija. During 10 games in Euroleague he averaged 11.1 points and 6.1.
Meanwhile Senegal international Pape Sow wore Armani Jeans Milano jersey. He averaged 8.3 points and 4.9 rebounds per game last season in Euroleague.
