Joe Vardon and Mike Vorkunov of The Athletic have shared new insights into the developing international basketball venture known as Project B.

The league is collaborating with prominent European agent Misko Raznatovic and has LeBron James’ longtime associate and business partner Maverick Carter serving as an adviser.

According to Vardon and Vorkunov, Project B has already secured agreements with several women’s basketball players and is now working to expand its presence on the men’s side.

The plan is to attract a mix of current and former NBA talent, along with elite young prospects from outside the league, who would be part of a developmental system tied to the new competition.
