The Oklahoma City Thunder will travel to Philadelphia on Monday, March 23, facing the 76ers at Wells Fargo Center with several key absences.

Oklahoma City has Ajay Mitchell sidelined due to a league suspension, while Thomas Sorber remains out recovering from right ACL surgery. Two-way players Payton Sandfort and Nikola Topic are unavailable.

Philadelphia enters the game missing multiple starters. Joel Embiid (right oblique strain), Tyrese Maxey (right finger tendon strain), and Kelly Oubre Jr. (left elbow sprain) are all out. Paul George serves a league suspension, while Dominick Barlow is listed as doubtful with a left ankle sprain. Johni Broome continues to recover from right knee surgery, further testing the 76ers’ depth.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leads the Thunder with 31.6 points, 6.6 assists, and 4.4 rebounds per game, complemented by Chet Holmgren’s 17.2 points and 9.0 rebounds. Jalen Williams adds 17.5 points per game.

The 76ers are adjusting without Embiid and Maxey, who average 26.6 and 29.0 points per game respectively. VJ Edgecombe contributes 15.7 points and 5.7 rebounds, while Dominick Barlow’s questionable status leaves the team short at power forward.

Both teams come off strong wins in their last two games. The Thunder defeated Washington and Brooklyn by an average of 22 points, maintaining a 56-15 record and the top seed in the Western Conference.

The 76ers won consecutive home games over Utah and Sacramento, improving to 39-32 and holding the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference.

Monday’s matchup marks the second meeting between the teams this season, with Oklahoma City holding a 1-0 edge after a 129-104 victory at home on December 28. The Thunder have won 11 straight games, while the 76ers enter on a two-game winning streak, making the contest critical for playoff positioning.
