The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Philadelphia 76ers to end their two-game skid 129-104 on Sunday.

Thunder star Chet Holmgren dropped 29 points and nine rebounds, with 12 of 17 shots from the field, including 2 of 4 from three-point range, which was coming off consecutive losses to the San Antonio Spurs.

Oklahoma shot 50 for 87, resulting in a total field percentage of 57%.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander added 27 points, five assists, and two steals, and Jalen Williams contributed 14 points and six assists for the NBA-leading Thunder.

The reigning MVP made 10 of 13 field goals and shot 7 for 9 from the line before sitting out the fourth quarter, scoring at least 20 points for the 103rd consecutive match.

On the other hand, Sixers guard Tyrese Maxey scored 28, Quentin Grimes with 13, and Paul George added 12, as they played without superstar Joel Embiid due to an ankle injury.

Philadelphia committed 23 turnovers, which led to the Thunder’s 31-point lead.

George received a warm welcome from the Thunder crowd, as his trade to the Clippers helped shape the NBA champion, who acquired Gilgeous-Alexander and Williams in the deal.

Oklahoma made its first nine field goals, but Maxey led the 76ers to keep it close with 23 first-half points.

However, the Thunder took control in the third quarter, dominating Philadelphia 38-24 for a 102-86 lead heading into the fourth.

The 76ers will face the Memphis Grizzlies, while the Thunder will host the Hawks on Monday.
