Spanish league side Gipuzkoa will compete in next season’s Liga Endesa due to financial issues.
The side finished bottom of the Liga Endesa [ACB] last season with a 7-27 record that included a 10-game losing streak which highlighted their disappointing year.
They were relegated alongside Estudiantes.
The management of the team decided that it would be better for them to play in the second division (LEB Oro), focus again into producing talent and also take back the 2 million euros that were used as a guarantee in order to pay their old debts. As you can easily understand, this decision is based on financial data.
