The “Whites” attempted to turn things around and cut the deficit to four, thanks to an 8-0 run of their own (80-84).
At that time, Nikola Mirotic took over for FC Barcelona. He blocked Nicolas Laprovittola’s shot and then hit a pair of free throws to seal the deal for the “Blaugrana”.
Mirotic led the way for the winners, with 26 points and 10 rebounds. Four more players scored in double figures for FC Barcelona.
Sergio Llull and Gabriel Deck were the top scorers for Real Madrid, with 14 and 12 points, respectively. Walter Tavares added a double double (11 points, 11 rebounds).
FC Barcelona improved to 13-3 in the ACB standings, whereas Real Madrid dropped to 14-1.
