Dallas Mavericks star Anthony Davis has been upgraded to doubtful for Monday’s game against the Miami Heat, per Mike Curtis of the Dallas Morning News.

Curtis also noted that Davis traveled with the team to Miami, and that this marks the seventh day since reports said he’d be re-evaluated in “seven to 10 days” as he works back from the left calf strain that has sidelined him for 13 straight games.

Davis’ absence has fueled recent speculation, especially after Dallas moved on from former GM Nico Harrison.

Some expected that shift to signal a rebuild centered on Cooper Flagg, but Mark Cuban has insisted the Mavericks don’t intend to trade Davis.

Reports have also suggested that teams would need to see Davis stay healthy and help the 5-13 Mavs win games before considering a trade package big enough to make Dallas think twice.

Curtis adds that Davis isn’t the only injured Maverick: Dereck Lively II is out for right knee injury management, while Brandon Williams (lower back tightness) and Ryan Nembhard (left knee sprain) are both questionable.
