The Golden State Warriors have signed guard Taevion Kinsey, according to NBA insider Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.
Kinsey, 25, arrives in the Bay Area after spending last season with the Salt Lake City Stars, the Utah Jazz’s G League affiliate. He averaged 12.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.7 assists in 33.8 minutes across 50 games.
The Marshall product went undrafted in the 2023 NBA Draft but carved out a role in the G League with efficient scoring. He shot 52.5 percent from the field while adding defensive contributions with 1.2 steals per game.
Kinsey briefly signed 10-day and two-way contracts with the Jazz in 2024 but never appeared in an NBA game. He rejoined the Stars multiple times during the year, continuing his development as a versatile guard.
This summer, he was selected to the NBA G League United Team for the 2025 FIBA Intercontinental Cup, recognition of his progress at the professional level.
