FC Barcelona has signed American forward Miles Norris on a one-year deal, the club officially announced Friday.
The 25-year-old arrives after splitting last season between the G League’s Memphis Hustle and Maine Celtics, while also making a brief appearance in the NBA with the Boston Celtics.
Norris averaged 17.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, and shot 38.5% from three-point range in 36 games with Memphis. He later contributed 14.5 points, 6.3 boards, and connected on 39.3% of his threes in eight outings for Maine.
His G League production earned him a short stint with Boston, where he played three games and logged 2.3 points and 3.0 rebounds in limited minutes. Despite the small sample size.
Before arriving in Spain, Norris also had a brief spell in Turkiye with Cagdas Bodrum at the end of the 2023–24 season. His path has included stops in the NBA system, the G League, and overseas competition in just two years of professional basketball.
At 2.01 meters, Norris projects as a versatile option for Barcelona’s rotation at power forward. He joins recently signed veteran Tornike Shengelia in what has become a reshaped frontcourt.
Norris played his college basketball at Oregon, City College of San Francisco, and UC Santa Barbara. With the Gauchos, he developed into a reliable shooter and defender, traits that have translated to his professional career.
