Jae’Sean Tate re-signs with Rockets for $3M

Jae’Sean Tate has reached an agreement to rejoin the Houston Rockets on a one-year contract worth $3 million.

Originally, Tate was set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, but this deal keeps him with the Rockets for another season.

The small forward initially signed with Houston prior to the 2020-21 campaign, after spending two years playing basketball overseas.

During last season, he contributed an average of 3.6 points and 2.2 rebounds in about 11.3 minutes per game.

This new contract follows Tate’s previous $7.6 million expiring deal with the Rockets, signaling the team’s continued interest in keeping him as part of their roster moving forward.
