Spanish wing Hugo Gonzalez has officially declared for the 2025 NBA Draft as an early entry candidate.

A product of Real Madrid’s renowned basketball program, Gonzalez has been with the club for the past three seasons, making significant strides during his first full campaign with the senior team this year.

Standing at 6-foot-6, Gonzalez has gradually earned more minutes with Real Madrid as the season has progressed.

Despite a limited role, he has made the most of his time on the court, averaging 3.1 points and 1.7 rebounds in just over 10 minutes per game across various European competitions.

Gonzalez, 19, has long been considered one of Spain’s most promising young talents.

He’s excelled at the junior level with the Spanish national team and recently gained valuable experience with the senior squad during EuroBasket qualifiers.

In those appearances, he impressed by averaging 10 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals in only 17 minutes per game.

ESPN’s latest mock draft projects Gonzalez as a first-round selection, with his draft stock ranging from the late lottery to the mid-20s.

With his athleticism, defensive potential, and international experience, Gonzalez is regarded as a rising prospect in this year’s class.
