Atlanta Hawks guard Dyson Daniels has secured a major endorsement deal, signing a four-year contract with Adidas, according to NBA insider Shams Charania.

Daniels, the NBA’s steals leader, has emerged as a Defensive Player of the Year candidate in his third season.

The 22-year-old is averaging 14.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 3.1 steals per game, marking the highest steals average in a season since 1988-89.

His breakout season has helped the Hawks remain competitive in the Eastern Conference, where they currently sit seventh with a 36-38 record.

Atlanta trails the sixth-seed Milwaukee Bucks by four games as they push to secure a direct playoff berth rather than a Play-In Tournament spot.

Daniels’ rapid rise has made him one of the most intriguing young defenders in the league, drawing comparisons to elite perimeter stoppers of past eras.

His defensive instincts and ability to disrupt passing lanes have set him apart, making him a valuable asset for the Hawks.

Adidas’ decision to sign him aligns with the brand’s history of partnering with top-tier defensive players, including Derrick Rose and Damian Lillard, who built their reputations on both ends of the floor.

With this deal, Daniels joins a growing roster of Adidas-sponsored NBA athletes, adding to his growing influence off the court.
