Khalifa Diop is officially making the jump to the NBA after agreeing to a multiyear contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Cavaliers signed the Senegalese center to a four-year deal worth $9.26 million, according to HoopsHype.

The first season of the contract is fully guaranteed, with Diop set to earn $1.36 million.

Cleveland has held Diop’s NBA rights since selecting him with the 39th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.

Rather than immediately joining the Cavaliers, Diop remained in Europe and continued his development with Baskonia.

He spent the past three seasons competing for the Spanish club in both Liga ACB and the EuroLeague.
