Bradley Beal’s status remains uncertain for the Phoenix Suns’ matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday, as he continues to deal with tightness in his left calf, reports Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic.
Beal has already missed the team’s last two games due to the injury, and it is unclear whether he will be available.
Meanwhile, Grayson Allen, who was sidelined for Friday’s game with soreness in his left foot, is listed as probable and is expected to make his return.
Following the Suns’ victory on Friday, which snapped a three-game losing streak, Kevin Durant emphasized the importance of staying focused.
He noted that the team must tune out distractions and direct their full attention to playing basketball.
“It’s so much noise that’s going to be around us,” Durant said. “It’s so much tension around whether we’re going to win or lose the next game. So many people wishing that we don’t win games.
“It’s just a lot of BS around us, but I think if we understand that’s just the nature of the beast and we go out there and play with more pride and more energy, more enthusiasm, I think that things can turn around, but you really actually got to feel that.”
