Los Angeles Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue expressed optimism regarding the potential return of Norman Powell, the team’s leading scorer, who has missed the last five games due to soreness in his left knee, as reported by Janis Carr of The Orange County Register.

Lue mentioned that Powell had attempted to play through the discomfort before the All-Star break, but eventually, he had to adjust his treatment plan for the knee.

Lue reassured that Powell is making progress, saying, “But like I said, he’s getting close, and he’s been doing the things needed to try to get back on the floor and so hopefully sooner than later.”
