
Along with rumors surrounding the Cleveland Cavaliers’ backcourt, there was also speculation during the offseason about the compatibility between Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley in the frontcourt.
In an interview with Andscape’s Marc J. Spears, Allen addressed the discussions and acknowledged the reality of trade rumors in the business. However, he expressed his satisfaction with remaining in Cleveland.
“I really mesh well with these guys,” Allen shared. “It’s just a good group to be around.”
The big man emphasized his comfort with the team and the positive atmosphere within the organization.
Allen has played 8 seasons for the Cavaliers and Nets. He has averaged 12.8 points and 9.3 rebounds in 545 regular-season games. He was selected to play in 1 All-Star game.
